our approach to bim

The future of the construction industry is digital, and BIM is the future of design and long term facility management; it is government led and driven by technology and clear processes; and it is implementing change across all industries. As a practice, Cudd Bentley Consulting recognised at an early stage the key benefits that BIM can deliver to the design process and has invested heavily in developing an internal state of the art capability to meet our and our client’s requirements.

Cudd Bentley Consulting have now been actively using, developing and supporting this process since 2012, as well as having a long history of 3D modelling, a key element of BIM for 3D coordination. To date Cudd Bentley Consulting have worked on numerous collaborative BIM projects across many industry sectors including retail, education, residential & hotels and have the capability to deliver BIM on projects of any size, sector or location.

We as a practice Cudd Bentley Consulting considers BIM to be more about process than about individual technology. This drives us to take on a flexible and practical approach to BIM implementation that takes all those current BIM capabilities held by the design teams and really understand each stakeholder’s expectation when employing a BIM process.
